Rad Usage
Use Oil and Coolant Rads as required to control Coolant and Oil Temp.
Use 3/4 Coolant Radiator and 3/4 Oil Cooler for Climb settings.
Half open is generally sufficient for most level speed operations except at low IAS and high boost/rpm.
At high speed 35% open Radiator and Oil cooler is sufficient for brief periods.
Slow speed provides the worst cooling. Sustained slow speed high power manoeuvring should start with 3/4 Radiator and Oil cooler, opening to full open Radiator and cooler if temperatures rise.
